ERVOR, is the leading French manufacturer of custom-made packages for the starting of diesel engines and engineering applications.... We are a family owned company and have been in business since 1946.

   1945 Creation of ERVOR by Mr Gouzer and Mr. Voreau.

> First project : Air compressors for the new steel bodied river barges following a decision y the French government to develop the industry (old wooden barges were destroyed during World War II).

   1950 Full line of air compressors for diesel engine starting.

   1954 First air compressors developed for the military.

   1960 First air compressors for oil-drilling in the Sahara and SNCF locomotive engines.

   1965 First air compressors for nuclear power plants.

   1969 ENVE (manufacture of standard low pressure air compressors) acquires ERVOR.

   1973 First air compressors (modules 2000) for France Telecom and for thermal power plants. Veritas and OTAN certifications.

   1975 Development of the first French pneumatic starter for the CNET (Centre National d'Études et de Télécommunications). First air compressors for offshore oil-drilling platforms.

   1980 Merger of ERVOR and ENVE.

   1983 First major engineering projects.

   1986 RAQ 2 certification granted by the SIAR (Organisme de Surveillance Industrielle de l'Armement).

   1990 Development of the "Rafale" product line (low pressure screw type air compressors).

   1993 Implementation of Computer Aided Design (CAD)

   1996 Launch of the G06 (start-air compressor ) development program.

   1998 Implementation of the industry's first electronic commerce web site for the purchase of spare parts.

   1999 Ervor is the winner of the much coveted “ Trophée de l'Innovation ” for the performance and the uniqueness of the GO6's design.

   2000 Launch of the ISO 9000 certification program

   2003 Ervor moves to new premises (Argenteuil, Paris suburb)
